I have seen lots of canyons and cliffs in recent weeks, but the Cevennes were still interesting with their very own characteristics regarding the rocks and the landscape.
For some parts there was a beautiful and quiet trail that I could follow away from the street.
Florac was nice with its location underneath the unusual rock formations.
Continuing towards Castelbouc, there were always small villages and great views along the way.
Finally I reached Castelbouc, an old village that is built directly into the cliffs.
I enjoyed the views from above and roamed the tight center before I cooked my dinner at the campsite.
