Early in the morning I took a quick tour through Bratislava.
It was not very crowded and I liked the mix of nice parks and romantic views.
Before noon I left along the river towards Budapest which is more than 200 km away.
The river on the right and small, Slovakian villages on the left it went straight on a great surface, so I was able to make a lot of distance.
As I ran out of water I left the river, and this small supermarket saved me in the afternoon heat.
It continued on endless straights between the Danube trees.
I was happy to meet some other cyclists from Switzerland. Two guys who are cycling to Budapest and another one going towards Istanbul, all of them very young.
We decided to cycle together and open up a little camp village.
All of them have already travelled a lot, so it was a great evening.
