It became more hilly when I continued further South a little bit away from the coast.
Back to the coast I was right at the beginning of Andalusia.
It started off very hilly again and the landscape reminded me very much of Nevada in the US as long as I was not at the coast.
The coast however offered more intereting views.
To reach Granada I had to leave the coast and climb into the mountains right at the edge of the Sierra Nevada.
When I reached Granada, I ran over a nail and had a puncture. It was good to have it happen in a city with bicycle shops, but it was Saturday afternoon and all the shops would be closed until Monday!
It would mean that I not only would lose a day, but also could not reach my nice apartment in Frigiliana the next day which I had just booked.
I decided to watch football and see Granada for the whole day tomorrow.
