Day 69: Towards Nimes

Just across the river I was out of Avignon and in the flat country. In the first small village I spent some time at the graveyard. This style will always be fascinating to me.

Away from the streets it was beautiful and quiet and I enjoyed the ride towards Arles very much.

Suddenly another free animal appeared, this time it was a donkey.

I told him to go back home, but my French was probably not sufficient.

I just rolled along and enjoyed the quiet and flat cycling on smooth surface, it was like back home.

Arles was nice, but I quickly continued towards Nimes.

After some more easy cycling I reached Nimes in the late afternoon.

This day was supposed to be about ruins, but it was all about nature and animals and I enjoyed it very much.
