Day 83-93: Barcelona

I took more than a week of rest in Barcelona. As I had already seen on the way during my two days in Catalonia, the political situation is always present. Additionally, there was the day of Catalonia during my stay and a huge demonstration was staged in the center.

Obviously there are a lot of things to see in the city, like the gothic quarter, the Parc de la Ciutadella and the Sagrada Familia.

The highlight for me was to go to the beautiful stadium Camp Nou and see Messi play in the Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven. He scored a hattrick in an easy win.

Originally the intention was to go West into the Pyrenees and to Valladolid, but I will probably go straight down to Valencia and Andalusia.
