Day 97: Amazing Valencia

It was early afternoon when I cycled into Valencia on a long and straight bicycle path. Instantly I loved the town with its large streets, palms and feeling of comfort that was present everywhere. Only a day before I had read about the park with the futuristic buildings, and when it opened up in front of me it was an amazing sight. 

With the people walking and cycling around the buildings and through the diverse gardens, it felt like arriving in the future.

The park is a green stripe just similar to the Central Park when you see it on the map, from near the coast up towards the center. The closer you get to the center, the less futuristic it becomes. This city has mastered the difficult task of uniting futuristic architecture and the glorious remains from the past.

Wherever you go, it is always a pleasant and interesting ambiance.

I will continue further all along the coast.
