Right off the campground I started the climb up to the Feldberg, the highest mountain of the black forest.
Early on there was a lot of need for rest.
Finally out of the woods I found the signs pointing to the "Feldsee". This lake was the first thing I wanted to see.
It is a small world, so I met a guy who was living near my hometown and we cycled to the lake together.
After I had trouble with my navigation and was sick and tired of climbing hills for nothing, I decided to leave the black forest directly towards Schaffhausen.
Going down the eastern side of the mountains, I loved the views of the high plains.
I reached the campsite late and was in good position to reach the Rheinfall the next morning.
